A Note on Changing Seasons:
As the weather changes, so does the pattern of wild horse behavior. In the spring, late summer, and fall, the horses are spread out over the horse range. This time of year usually requires hiking to find the horses. But what a reward when we do find them! Please discuss this with us as you make plans to visit.
Q: What is the ride like?
A: The trip up the mountain is a long, rocky climb. If you are prone to motion sickness, we suggest that you address the situation prior to departure. You will be much more comfortable on the day’s adventure.
Q: How many people will be on the tour with me?
A: These are personal tours with usually 4 and no more than 7 people.
Q: Can I do a half day tour?
A: Our tours are only full day trips. We do not offer half day tours because we simply cannot get to the horses in a half day trip to the mountain.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: We do not allow pets on the tours for the safety of the horses and other guests. We do have a reliable boarding service locally and we can provide that contact information upon request.
